We had our wedding here and it was absolutely incredible! From the very start of planning to the running of the day, Steph was fantastic.
Everything was perfect, the location, planning, food, drinks and service. The entire team are amazing and felt like family. The food was some of the best we have ever had with every guest saying it was the by far the best food they have ever had at a wedding and in general! We are so grateful to have found The Dunes and cannot recommend them enough!

Don't even know where to begin expressing how happy we are to have chosen The Dunes as our wedding venue! Firstly, Steph was absolutely incredible in the planning and lead up to the day. She didn't skip a beat on the night either, making sure everything ran smoothly which it did. The staff on the night were also 10/10 with every single guest telling us how good they were with bringing around the f ood and keeping people's drinks full. The food itself was also amazing, the cocktail set up was perfect and everyone was more than well fed. If anyone has doubts about the food you definitely don't need to worry! Ceremony spot around the corner worked an absolute treat too.

A beautiful venue! We had our wedding reception The Dunes in February 2024. Our event co-ordinator Stephanie was absolutely incredible. She was very lovely and went out of her way to provide us with an outstanding wedding. We have received so many compliments in the days following our wedding. Our guests thought the food and drinks were to die for, and the floor to ceiling glass with ocean views of the best beach in Victoria, was breathtaking. We will be recommending The Dunes for wedding reception venues, well into the future :)

We had our Wedding at The Dunes 11.11.23 and it was absolutely the best day of our lives! We could not fault one thing. Steph the Functions and Events Coordinator was so hands on throughout the whole process and just made it such an easy, enjoyable and stress free process for us. The day was amazing, we felt so looked after and that the staff were all over it! We had the best day of our lives with the best memories and can truly not fault one thing! We are spreading the word that for anyone looking for a wedding venue this is it! The food, beverage and staff on the night were amazing and no guest was left hungry or thirsty. All of our guests said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to! And although biased, we couldn’t agree more. Thank you to everyone at The Dunes for helping our day be so special, we will never forget it. The Dunes has always been a special place to us, and now even more so! We will be back plenty more!

Having our wedding at The Dunes was the easiest decision we made when planning our wedding and one of the decisions we are most grateful for.
Every single guest we invited commented on how amazing The Dunes was as a venue but more importantly how great The Dunes staff were. Our guests with dietary requirements said they felt very taken care of. Nothing that the guests asked The Dunes staff was a hassle, they were extremely accommodating and so polite. And most importantly - no guests glasses were ever not full! Every guest I have spoken to has said to ensure we thank The Dunes staff as they were wonderful. So, thank you!!!
I’d like to make a special mention to Eliza for being so incredible and to the waiter (sorry we don’t know his name) that was looking after the bride’s father/family table – they all loved him and are all still talking about how fun he was!
With the lead up and planning of the wedding day, Zoe was great. She responded to all my emails or phone calls straight away and was very knowledgeable as she told us upfront all of the information we needed to know. On our wedding day it was raining all day and Zoe gave us confidence and made us feel comfortable about the indoor options and how everything would work out – in which it did! Also, on the day Zoe was awesome to work with, she so gracefully and naturally made me feel relaxed in which I am forever grateful that we had Zoe as the function coordinator.
The Dunes venue itself looks incredible inside and out. Looking outside it has a stunning view of the beach, but inside the venue is just as nice. Inside the venue has a unique and modern look which was what we wanted as it does not feel outdated, but feels fresh and luxurious. We trusted Zoe to position our candles, decorations and flowers on the tables how she wanted to and she did not disappoint, they looked great.
Lastly, the food was incredible. Planning the wedding I was originally hesitant about roving or feasting rather than a traditional ‘chicken, beef, chicken, beef’ that other wedding venues do. But after our wedding, I feel so lucky that we did have roving entrees and feasting main meals! Some of my guests said it felt like Christmas as they could have a bit of everything rather than stuck with one plate. Not to mention, every guest also commented on how amazing the food was. Every guest was obsessed with the beef and the duck fat potatoes! I have had guests saying they need to go back to The Dunes for dinner as they loved the food so much – guests generally don’t say that about other wedding venues I have been to!
We feel so lucky and are so appreciative that we had our wedding at The Dunes.

Where do I even start! I don’t think I could even keep count of how many of our guests told us ‘BEST WEDDING EVER!’ Aside from the venue itself being absolutely stunning, from the early planning stage, to confirming the finer details and the big day, our experience with the Dunes was nothing short of amazing. Nothing was too difficult for Zoe and the team and communication and coordination with our vendors was without flaw, making our lives easy and leaving us to enjoy the day resting assured that everything was taken care of.
And on the day:

Honestly we still can’t get over how amazing the day was and we cannot thank you enough. Something that all our guests kept saying to us is how amazing all the staff were, the service and vibes from the staff honestly elevated the whole night to another level. Our wedding was recently held at the Dunes Ocean Grove. This business and venue exceeded all our expectations. Zoe the functions coordinator was a dream to work with, she understood all of my requests and is extremely helpful, supportive and professional. The staff, service and food was exceptional and all of our guests commented on the efficiency and friendliness of the staff. Thank you for making our wedding such a memorable and amazing experience.

From the moment we booked The Dunes to be our reception venue, I knew we were in good hands. The whole process was seamless, the communication was spot on and nothing was ever too hard for you. We held a large wedding in November 2022 & it was the most perfect event... Guests commented on how beautiful the venue was set up & organised by staff-they made our dreams come true.
We were blown away by the speed & consistency of service throughout the night. Drinks were topped-up almost immediately by friendly staff, who moved around the space effortlessly.
Food was perfectly cooked, so delicious & all our 200 guests were served within 20mins!
Nothing was too hard for Zoe the functions co-ordinator. She went out of her way numerous times to help make our night special & always had a happy & approachable attitude whenever we contacted her. Zoe was prompt on email to assist with the finer details & made the whole process of planning so enjoyable & easy.
The team were just as excited about our big day as we were, helping us plan fun drinks for our guests & providing helpful advice prior to the day. They were always flexible on the arrangements & ideas to help personalise our day.
Molly took extra special care of our bridal party & she really put our needs first on the night, even making sure our little guests had activities to keep them all happy. The team here are truly something special, their attitude, teamwork & professionalism are exceptional.
We went back to the venue numerous times during our stay in Ocean Grove & all our guests did too, (following the event) because they loved it so much!! They just keep exceeding our expectations for quality & service. We are truly fortunate to be apart of the amazing Dunes family! Thank you so much for making our wedding so memorable & fun!!

Where do we begin?!? From the word go you and your teams communication and transparency were unmatched, hence why you guys were the one and only venue we had a meeting with! The whole process was effortless and so stress free. We enjoyed every second of meetings and emails because between yourself and Maddy you both were so approachable and understanding with changes or ideas on the lead up.
For the process of the day we didn’t feel any ounce of stress as we knew you set up the space and the scene effortlessly and perfectly to our ideas. The staff on the night made us feel so damn special. We were waved on hand and foot. I’d love to give a special mention to Molly, her care for Izzy as a pregnant woman was so beautiful, she made sure Izzy eaten and always had a form of water or drink to stay hydrated! As for the other servers on the night Hayden was never left without a beverage and it made our job of socializing and being with our family so much more enjoyable as we weren’t by the bar at any point for a drink. The food was exceptional and we expected nothing less from the quality you guys serve day to day.
The next morning we came to visit for brekky and we’re once again waved on hand a foot! It was such a pleasure and a blessing to get to have you in our day and during the process. We can not begin to thank you or your team enough. You all created and perfected the dream wedding for us. 100/10 for us. If we could have a wedding every weekend with you guys we would!!

After two and a half years of planning and re planning (four postponements in the middle) we were lucky enough to get married at The Dunes. From day one the organisation and communication by Maddison, Chloe and Zoe has been outstanding. I was worried about not having a stylist or event co-ordinator for our wedding but Maddie acted in that role and more, her eye for detail is amazing.The level of service on the night exceeded all our expectation and the food was next level. Not only did we have an abundance of amazing platters, it was delicious. Our guests have all commented how great the venue and service was! Scott and I couldn't have wished for a more perfect day for our wedding. From the moment we met with Maddy and organising our special day we couldn't fault her professionalism, relaxed and open personality and precise organisation. The wedding night itself wow - I don't think there was a single time I looked around and people weren't smiling or dancing the night away. This was such a beautiful moment to witness after the past 2 years with Covid. Having our closest family and friends in one room together having a fun night will be unforgettable. The food also received many compliments from our guests. The slow cooked beef oyster blade was mouth watering, as well as the duck fat chat potatoes! and broccolini sides.Overall we cannot speak more highly of the venue and the team at The Dunes Ocean Grove and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding venue. We had our wedding at The Dunes in March 2022 and it was simply perfect! From the beginning of planning the Event Coordinator Zoe was amazing - personable, easily contactable and willing to work with us to make sure the day suited us as a couple.
Zoe was there on the day to ensure the ceremony ran smoothly and everyone felt at ease.
The staff on the night were so lovely and exceptional at their jobs. They remembered what everyone was drinking and ensured glasses were topped up. The food was delicious and plentiful and the staff ensured no one was missed.
All of our guests commented on the professionalism and kindness of the staff. And the venue looked amazing - everything was setup as we had discussed and was perfect for people to sit, stand, chat or dance the night away. All of this with the most stunning back drop of the ocean - how could you go wrong!

To Maddy and the amazing team at The Dunes, THANK YOU! You helped us to create our perfect day, and we cannot thank you enough. From the first meeting, we knew we wanted to work with Maddy. Her energy was so welcoming, yet so calming, and we could not stop talking about how easy it was discussing options with her. Maddy was always so thorough in her communication and planning. The information, checklists and layout examples that she created for us prior to our day made us confident that we had covered all items. Her attention to detail was phenomenal and we cannot get over how easy she made the whole process.
To the beautiful Dunes staff- not only on our wedding day, but the coffees and dinners we had before, we always had brilliant service! All of our guests were commenting on how amazing the food was, and that their bellies were full and drinks always filled. You allowed guests to keep mingling and dancing because you came to them with drinks & nibbles. You catered for many dietary requirements and did not let anyone feel left out.
The Dunes made for an amazing day, and we cannot thank them enough! We would highly recommend The Dunes to anyone wanting to hold their wedding, we wouldn’t think twice about holding another event there.

Where to start… from the initial meeting with Maddi, it was hard to say no. Maddi’s relaxed, personal approach, and warmth was hard to beat, and was absolutely everything we could have asked for. From the get go, Maddi was with us every step of the way, and was always willing to lend a helping hand and answer all of our weird and wonderful questions, and we cannot say thank you enough.
The staff at The Dunes are beyond incredible, they certainly went above and beyond to make sure that our day was as smooth as possible, and always made sure that we were well fed with a drink in hand.
The venue is second to none, and our guests would not stop raving about how warm and inviting the space was, just what we wanted! And the food… incredible to say the least. We, alongside each and every one of our guests could not speak more highly of the food produced. Let’s just say, they have earned themselves at least 100 new customers! What an incredible evening, if only we could re-live the day a million times over.

Jay and I had the most amazing wedding all thanks to The Dunes. It is a truly beautiful venue with amazing views and staff that catered to our every need on the night. Maddy and Zoe were so kind and helpful during our planning stages and we felt so relaxed knowing we could approach them about anything. Zoe was also very hands on on the day for us, wanting to make it as perfect as it could be.
Our guests had so many compliments about the venue and we couldn't agree more! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was extremely prompt and professional. We can't thank The Dunes enough for making our wedding day as special as it could have been for us.

We were lucky enough to have our wedding reception at the Dunes. We could not speak highly enough of the service and staff and many of our guests commented on the amazing service. The service was unbelievable and the staff looked after all needs. Maddison, Molly (who looked after the bridal party at the reception)and Zoe were absolutely wonderful. We are still on cloud 9 after our wedding and were absolutely blown away by your team at the Dunes. We have had so many comments about the “best wedding food ever”, amazing wine but most importantly the staff were exceptional with every single guest. People with dietaries raved about Tim and how well they were looked after. They also commented about how attentive the staff were, filling their glasses immediately once finished, somehow always right there with the desired canapé choice, braving the pelting rain to serve them. They were absolutely outstanding, and they looked after Jesse and I perfectly too- Ola was amazing!
Maddy you have been incredible during the planning process- so organised, communicative, relaxed, all over the detail, and extremely understanding, professional, generous, flexible and accommodating of the difficulties posed by the pandemic. nothing was too hard or a fuss despite the very challenging circumstances for your restaurant posed by Covid.

It was amazing wedding! We changed our reception venue to the dunes from their sister venue the heads 1 day before our wedding due to the covid 19 virus. and despite this the reception was absolutely perfect! The staff did an incredible job bringing everything we wanted over to the dunes in just 1 day and were very accommodating and professional the entire time. There was nothing to complain about. Beautiful venue, food, drink and staff! The best thing is the view of the ocean from inside the venue. Chloe and Maddie the event planners went above and beyond since day one during the whole planning process but to change plans last minute and deliver a perfect wedding was amazing. I would highly recommend this elegant venue with great service for a wedding reception.
